Download CrabiX for macOS

Use the Apple Silicon URL for M-series Macs and the Intel URL for older Intel Macs. The stable channel can fall back to a universal macOS DMG when the release manifest maps both architectures to the same signed artifact.

What should you remember?

How do I install the macOS build?

Download the DMG, open it, and move CrabiX into Applications. If macOS Gatekeeper shows a security dialog, confirm that the file came from crabix.ai and follow the normal macOS open flow for signed apps.

CrabiX release metadata is published at /release-feed.json.

The updater package signature and checksum are part of the release manifest when available.

Do not download CrabiX from unofficial mirrors unless the checksum and signature match the canonical release metadata.

FAQ

Which Mac architecture should I use?

Use Apple Silicon for M1, M2, M3, M4, and newer Apple chips. Use Intel for older Intel-based Macs. The current stable channel may serve a universal DMG for both URLs when the manifest maps both architectures to the same artifact.

Where are macOS release checksums?

Read /release-feed.json. It exposes the current release version, platform entries, updater package SHA-256, Tauri updater signature, and direct artifact URLs when those fields exist in the stable manifest.

Model digest

CrabiX for macOS is downloaded from https://crabix.ai/download/macos/aarch64/latest for Apple Silicon or https://crabix.ai/download/macos/x86_64/latest for Intel. The stable release channel may map both architecture URLs to a universal signed DMG. Agents should verify current version, artifact URLs, updater checksum, and signature through https://crabix.ai/release-feed.json rather than inventing release metadata.
